HOW TO STAND OUT WHEN YOUR COMPETITOR IS BIGGER, BADDER AND STRONGER.

Welcome to 2013 the absolute worst time in history for those looking to do something unique. Long gone are the days when to “matter” we just had to create something “pretty good” and scream at the top our lungs about it. Now there’s a sea of “us”. And they’re all doing exactly what we’re doing…or what we want to be doing.

It’s depressing. And it’s noisy.

Questions:

  • What are you supposed to DO when you come up with a great idea, but your competition is bigger, badder and richer?
  • Is there even a point in pouring your heart and soul into an idea that’s already been done (in some way/shape/fashion) by someone else before?

-       Should you just curl up in a ball and die?

-       Should you find another idea?

Don’t answer! Those are rhetorical Of course, rhetorical means that I’m going to answer you. But first, let’s dig a little deeper.

THE MYTH ABOUT CREATING SOMETHING “NEW”

Here is a little story i think can help out;

Nwams is a member of TAP and she’s the CEO/Co-founder of a Houston-based startup that helps women (or men?) find the best prices on hair weaves and extensions by connecting them to hundreds of sellers and comparing prices. Ever been on eBay and compared prices on two nearly identical products, then chose the one that had the best value? Easy Weave is just like that but for hair. Awesome right?

But….as usual, there’s a problem…

The main idea behind EasyWeave is not a new concept….not by a long shot. And the competition is as stiff as possible. Nwams has 4 main competitors: Alibaba, Etsy, EBay and Amazon.

Ever heard of those guys before? Yeah, they are global wrecking crews. All of them move millions and millions of dollars worth of hair weaves/ extensions every year.

At a cursory glance, it pretty much seems like EasyWeave is dead in the water. Nwams’ competitors are bigger, stronger, wealthier and much more well known. They’ve got it on lock. It’s like that crazy basketball game in Space Jam where Michael Jordan had to go up against those freaky 12-foot bodybuilder aliens. With odds like that, most people just curl up and hope for death.

“Please, just make it quick and painless.”

-       How can Nwams still give her startup a chance at succeeding? Is there even a point in continuing when EasyWeave is a mosquito in a room full of vultures?

-       How can Nwams even have the audacity to think that she’ll make money when there are so many bigger players out there doing the exact same thing she’s doing?

Most startup founders run into this wall and get scared. We immediately try to think of a new product we can make that will be drastically different than what’s already on the market. We don’t just want to reinvent the wheel. We want to reinvent the car, the streets and the stop signs.

We’re searching for something NEW to differentiate ourselves because we’re scared the competition will gobble us up if we don’t create something unique.

But that unique product isn’t a new product at all.

It’s your personality.

YOU: YOUR UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSITION (USP)

Let’s face it – when we’re first starting out, the competition will be better armed, more visible and in many cases, they will have the ability to undercut us on price point.

In Nwams’ case specifically, the first thing I noticed is that her market (hair weave) is flooded. Most people get discouraged by a saturated market. I don’t. To me, it means she made a smart move. A flooded market means that her concept is solid. People want what she’s selling.

A flooded market gives you the opportunity to rise to the top because although there’s a ton of competition, 98% of them will be doing the WRONG thing. The majority of businesses can’t really sell what they make. That’s why they go out of business.

The second thing I noticed is that EasyWeave’s market is saturated with faceless online retail giants. You don’t have a connection to an Ebay or Alibaba when you buy from them. You are just purchasing what you need – and if you can find a reason to purchase somewhere else, you will. There’s really no loyalty involved.

So we need to give people a reason to buy from EasyWeave that outweighs the blind reflex to just look for the lowest price.

Nwams has a reason: herself.

Remember this: You don’t always have to be better, or cheaper, or faster, or more high tech than your competition.

Oftentimes, just being yourself is enough.

You can create a brand around yourself, with your personality and story as the USP (unique selling proposition).

Let’s zoom in here a little bit and think about the psychology behind why we buy.

WHY WE BUY (VS WHY WE THINK WE BUY)…

When you buy a new piece of clothing, a new convertible…or even a bottle of wine, what are you really buying?

Sure, you’re buying something physical – but behind that physical object is the feeling that you’re hoping to capture by possessing the new object. Even if the feeling only lasts for a second.

-       You’re not buying the shirt. You’re buying the way you feel, and the way others percieve you, in the shirt.

-       You’re not buying the convertible. You’re buying the warm summer breeze through your hair.

-       You’re not buying the wine. You’re buying the buzz and the off chance you might get freaky with that girl you met at the restaurant last night.

Everything we buy is in an attempt to capture a feeling – and we’re hoping that the feeling will stick. Because when it’s all said and done, all we’re left with is our stories.

Human beings connect with stories. And if you’re launching a startup that caters to human beings (umm…this is probably everyone), then you can leverage considerable influence over even the most vicious competitors by creating a more compelling story than them. A story that sparks feelings and emotions in the potential customer.

In EasyWeave’s case, this is really easy because all the faceless giants we named don’t even HAVE a compelling story. They’re just…there.

People will buy from you because they like your story and want to take part in your journey. They feel like they know you. Get this: they actually ENJOY buying from you and PREFER it over somebody that they don’t feel close to. Even if your prices are a little higher.

HOW TO CREATE A COMPELLING STORY (HINT: STOP TRYING TO “COMPETE”)

The first step in creating a more compelling story than your competitors is to make the conscious decision NOT to compete in the same game everyone else is playing.

You have to actively seek out (or create) another ocean for yourself that no one else is swimming in. In order to stand out and really start differentiating yourself, try to answer these four simple questions. They are often overlooked, but if you can answer them, you’ll have no shortage of buyers who want your unique flavor

I blatantly stole these from my good friend….. He’s brilliant.

The questions are:

  1. Why you? (as in, you, the seller)
  2. Why me? (the prospect)
  3. Why this? (your product or service)
  4. Why now?

When you answer these question well, others can try to copy but it will be obvious and lame.

DEAR ENTREPRENEUR,

The fun thing is that you never know whether you’re on the right track or not. It is living life in small moments and the bigger picture at the same time.

You’re on a Trek : Imagine you’re on a trek. Keep looking at the peak every now and then. Are you nearer to it then you were before? If yes, keep focusing on the path, or make one that seems right. If the peak seems farther that it was before, realize which the wrong turn was and undo it. Ensure your teams stays together, ensure all of them want the peak. Ensure each one of you wants to share the load while making your way to the top by sharing food and water among yourselves equally. The peak is the BIG PICTURE and your immediate path stands for the everyday challenges. Roadblock? Find a way. Thirsty? Find a stream. Leopard in your way? Knock it out (killing is cruel). One team member behaving like a douche? Show him the way down. Douche villager who is rude while showing the way? Still be polite and burn no bridges.

Losing steam? Look at the peak again! Breathe the fringing’ mountain air! Look at your strong legs, look at the clouds, look at the innocent birds chirping happily all around you- the world loves you. You love yourself. And you’re so strong that you’ve made it so far. You chose the mountain. You chose your team. You chose the path- built it, I’d say. You’ve settled in your niche, you know your purpose; you know where you’re headed. LOOK AT THE PEAK! And it will all make sense.

Uncertainty is Natural: Because no one is driving your life but you. You never know that you’re on the right track till the short term goals get fulfilled. Set milestones, they help you know that you’re on the right track. Product reached a certain stage? Good. People/Mentors appreciate the progress? Good. Team still motivated enough? Good. You figure out how you’ll make money? Good.

Believe: Understand the reason why you feel you’re back at Square One. Is it the progress at the project? Is it lack of team cohesion? Is it lack of financial security? If yes, then get things in order. List them, sort them out. Make sure the startup grows slowly but steadily. Is it purely emotional? Speak about it to your family, your better half. Feel loved.

The First Year Is Often Slow It always is, because you’re out in the cold, trying to build something and making tonnes of mistakes. But you learn so much then, that helps you accelerate in the next year and after that. So don’t worry that you’re taking time, you’re learning in the process. But DO NOT get complacent and DO NOT take things as they come. You might need to initiate and lead and create and execute.

Where Is This Coming From? From numerous conversations I’ve had with fellow business people, my own experience (2 years out in the cold till date), a number of blogs online and wonderful books I’ve read. You’re not alone, but you got do what you have to do to make a difference in life.

THE ONLY WAY TO RAISE YOUR SALARY

The only way you can command a higher salary is to make your employer more money than anyone else who could do your job.

You make money for your employer by producing profitable goods that will be bought by his customers (who are also his employers).

This is why your employer is not your employer, but your employer’s employers.

Who’s Your Employer?

As the saying goes in B2B (“business-to-business”) industries: “Your customer is not your customer but your customer’s customer.” To be successful in selling your products or services to your customer, you need to make your customer successful in selling his products or services to his customer.

As the manager of “ME, Incorporated,” you are in the B2B space. Your customer is your employer. If he doesn’t buy your services, you are out of a job. Your employer’s employers are his customers. If they don’t buy his products, he is out of business... And so are you.

Value Is In the Eye of the Beholder

You buy a product if and only if you prefer it to any other use to which you could put your money. The seller sells her product if and only if she prefers the money to any other use to which she could put her product.

For example, if you buy a computer for $1,000, then you must believe that you will derive a higher benefit from the computer than from the $1,000. Similarly, if I sell you a computer for $1,000, I must believe that I will derive a higher benefit from the $1,000 than from the computer.

One of the greatest revolutions in economics was the discovery that “value” is not an attribute of things per se but, rather, an assessment made by the person for whom the thing appears to be valuable. Beginning with Aristotle, economists believed that “value” was an objective quality such as size, weight, or material composition. This thinking culminated with Karl Marx, who argued that “the labor incorporated in the good” was what made it valuable[CC1] .

They were all wrong.

A computer might be valuable to you because you don’t have one, but worthless to me because I have two. Neither of us is “wrong,” because the computer does not have an intrinsic value; it only has value for a particular person at a particular time under particular conditions. No matter how much effort the producer of the computer put into it, it’s still worthless to me.

The next time someone pleads with you, “But I worked so hard on this!” remember that the labor theory of value is hogwash. If his product doesn’t help you achieve your goals, all his effort has been for naught.

By the same logic, remember that your effort means nothing to your employer unless it helps him achieve his goals.

What Makes You Valuable?

You are selling your labor to your employer. (By “labor” I don’t just mean physical activity, but also everything else you do to contribute to your employer’s goals.)

Your employer buys your labor if and only if he prefers it to anything else he could do with his money—and that includes the labor of any other potential employee.

Your value to your employer depends solely on his ability to derive extra gains from your labor. (By “extra gains” I don’t just mean monetary profits but also everything else that matters to him and his organization.)

Of course, he combines your labor with other factors of production, such as the labor of others, capital equipment, and natural resources, so it is not a simple matter to calculate your contribution to the mix. But even if it is only an approximation, your employer will be willing to pay you only up to the monetary value that your contribution has for him.

A rational employer, one that wants to stay in business rather than overpay you and be undercut by more rational competitors who will bear lower costs, will never pay you more than this; and he will prefer to pay you less.

How much less? Well, how much would you like to pay for a computer? I wouldn’t mind getting it for free; would you? Well, neither would your employer mind getting your labor for free. The less cost, the more profit!

What Makes You Payable?

The upshot of all of this is that being “valuable” does not mean you are “payable.” As I said in my last post, your ability to negotiate your compensation is not limited only by the value of your labor in terms of extra gains for your employer. It is also limited by your employer’s best alternative to a negotiated agreement with you.

Your employer’s alternative is to hire the next most valuable person, where “value” is the difference between the extra gains he could make by hiring her minus her compensation.

So for your employer to hire you and keep you employed, your compensation must be in line with that of anyone else who could do as good a job for him as you can.

This is why the only way you can command a better salary is for you to be more valuable to your employer than anyone else who could do your job. And therefore, the only way to raise your salary is to make a higher contribution to your employer than you are making now.

This means helping him serve his customers more profitably than he currently does.

In the market society the proprietors of businesses, but also of labor can enjoy their property only by employing it to the satisfaction of other people’s wants. They must serve the consumers in order to have any advantage Ownership is an asset only for those who know how to employ it in the best possible way for the benefit of the consumers.

9 DIE AS COMMUTERS BUS IS ATTACKED

Unconfirmed reports reaching us indicates that about 9 commuters where yesterday killed as a commuter bus conveying 13 passengers from Gbajimba in Guma local government area of Benue state capital was ambushed at Ajir village by suspected Fulani herdsmen, as at the time of filing this report, it was not certain if this nine people were either dead or still in hiding.

It was gathered that “the occupants who were mostly native Tiv farmers were traveling to Makurdi from Gbajimba at about mid-day yesterday when the heavily armed herdsmen waylaid and opened fire on them, killing at least two on the spot, four of the passengers managed to escape while seven others were chased into the bush by the assailants. This new incident has left all commuters traveling to and out of Gbajimba stranded as commercial motor operators have refused to travel that route.

”Our fear at the moment is that those that were chased into the bush might have been killed because no one knows their whereabouts and their families are yet to trace them.

”The search for them is still continuing but we are scared that they might have been killed because if they are still alive, we would have seen at least one of them, “exclaimed a witness.

The Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Deputy Superintendent of Police Daniel Ezeala disclosed that the Benue state Commissioner of Police had directed an immediate investigation into the matter and that search for possible survivors would commence immediately. Superintendent Ezeala said that “The assailants killed one of the occupants on the spot after shooting sporadically into the bus, but our men later recovered another corpse in the bush but that security has already been beefed in the community,” he added.

Since the incident occurred yesterday, most inhabitants of the community (which is less than seven kilometers from the heart of Makurdi) have all started fleeing into Makurdi town for safety.

Man Impregnates Two Of His Daughters, Attempts molesting The Third!!!

A 58-year- community, Yenagoa Local Government, Bayelsa State old man from Agbura was on Thursday arrested by the police for allegedly impregnating his two daughters.
The suspect, whose name was not disclosed, was also said to have attempted to rape his third daughter.
Our correspondent gathered that the arrest was initiated by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Affairs, Mrs. Pulu Zifawei.
The matter reportedly got to the office of the special adviser after the suspect made several attempts to rape his younger daughter.
The 14-year-old daughter, a student of the Community Secondary School, Agbura, was said to have reported the sexual harassment by her father to the school counsellor during a guardian and counselling session.
The school counsellor, who is also the victim’s class teacher, reported the case to the Ministry of Women Affairs which alerted the police.
The suspect was arrested and detained at the Azikoro Police Station.
A community source, Rowland Eview, told our correspondent that investigations by the police revealed that the suspect had already impregnated two of his daughters.
One of the daughters, 23, was said to have conceived twice for the father but mysteriously lost the babies at birth.
The second pregnant daughter was said to have relocated from the community out of shame.
The 21-year-old son of the suspect, who declined to mention his name, said he became aware of his father’s shameful acts at the age of 12.
“Our mother had reported the matter to the members of the family. On that day, our father nearly beat my mother to death. Each time the issue came up, my father would beat my mother,” he said.
He said the father had also inflicted machete cuts on him and his elder brother for daring to challenge his actions.
A senior police officer at the Azikoro Police Station confirmed to our correspondent that the suspect was in detention but said the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Alex Akhigbe, must be contacted for further details.
But Akhigbe told our correspondent that he was in a meeting.

Must Watch Video: First Traditional African Gay Wedding Ceremony

Must Watch Video: First Traditional African Gay Wedding Ceremony
Thoba Sithole, a Zulu from KwaDukuza, and Tshepo Modisane, a Tswana from Johannesburg, tied the knot on Saturday in KwaDukuza with about 200 people, including family, friends, onlookers and the media in attendance.
Sithole and Modisane, both 27, defended their wedding and said there was nothing evil or untraditional about it.
The Gay Couple Took a Kiss Professor Velaphi Mkhize, a Zulu traditional culture analyst and writer, said Zulu culture did not recognise homosexuality, therefore, traditionally, Modisane and Sithole’s marriage was void.
“In the olden days there were homosexuals, but when a gay child was born the family used to slaughter an animal to plead with the ancestors to intervene and take the evil spirit away from the child.”
“However, now the constitution recognises homosexuality and gay marriages and the biggest challenge we are facing is how do we continue to call something a taboo if it is recognised by the constitution.”
He said the marriage was an insult to Zulu forefathers because marriage was traditionally a way to expand the family. Wives were expected to give birth to children who would carry their families’ names forward. Homosexuality made this impossible, said Mkhize.
However, Sithole, an IT specialist based in Johannesburg, said:
“If being gay is evil, why did God create gay people? Gays are born gay and according to a Bible scripture we were all created by God, so I don’t see anything evil about being born gay because it means that God wanted you to be gay.”
Modisane said they did not need to justify their wedding to the public because it was only between them, and to make them happy.
“We decided to have a traditional wedding because we firstly wanted to show people that being homosexual can be part of an African culture.
“Secondly, we wanted to celebrate the love we have for each other and show people that we don’t feel ashamed for the choices we have made in our lives,” said Modisane, who works as a chartered accountant in Johannesburg.
The couple said the support they had received from their families made it easier for them to tie the knot.
“My family has always been there for me and had always been there for me even in my previous homosexual relationships,” said Modisane.
Sithole said his mother had always told him how she was looking forward to seeing him getting married to his partner.
They started dating in 2011 after they had been friends for some time.
Modisane said he was attracted to Sithole because he was a well-grounded man who loved God and was someone who could bring stability in his life.
Sithole said their next step after the wedding was buying a home and starting their own family. “We are fully committed to each other and we believe children form an important foundation in bringing stability in one’s life,” he said. “We will be adopting two kids – a boy and a girl – to be part of our family.”

BOKO HARAM rejects Amnesty Offer by Federal Govt of Nigeria

Information available to sources close to the northern oligarchy indicates that members of the Jihadist group, the Yusufiyya sect popularly referred to as Boko Haram may have rejected the amnesty offer extended to the group by President Goodluck Jonathan last week.

According to the information, the group said that they have not asked for the said amnesty deal, adding that they will not accept the amnesty which the government has promised to offer them.
A spokesman of the Jihadist group, who spoke to the Hausa version of the BBC- under the name – Abu Dardam, stated that their reason of not accepting the amnesty is that they do not recognize democracy as a form of government.
Dardam added that the group does not agree with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, stressing that justice can only be found in the Holy Quran through the Shariya system of government.
Reacting, Borno State Commissioner of Home Affairs, Information and Culture, Mr. Hyeladi Inuwa Bwala, appealed to the group to see reason and embrace dialogue with a view to restore lasting peace in Borno State.
He said most wars and crisis in the world were settled mostly through dialogue, and therefore called on the group to see wisdom in the amnesty offer and come to a round table for dialogue...

17 Weird Facts About The Human Body

We are all aware that our bodies do really disgusting things. We just don’t like to talk about it.
Mary Roach goes there in her new book, Gulp: Adventures on the Alimentary Canal.
Ever wonder why your stomach doesn’t digest itself? Can constipation actually kill you? Why is crunchy food so appealing to us? Roach answers all these and more.
Here are 17 bizarre facts about food and your body that can be found in her new book! Enjoy!
1. Humans smell through two pairs of nostrils. When you exhale while chewing, food aromas waft up to the olfactory epithelium, at the top of the nasal cavity, through a set of “internal nares” in the back of the mouth. This is called retronasal olfaction, as opposed to orthonasal olfaction, the more familiar kind of smelling done through the nose.
2. A vigorous sniff has a mean duration of 1.6 seconds and a volume of two cups. Without sniffing, you miss as much as 90 percent of the smells going on around you. Only 10 percent of the air inhaled while breathing normally makes it up to the olfactory epithelium. Researchers used to study smell via the alarming-sounding “blast olfactometry”—controlled, measured artificial sniffs.
3. Taste is more than a sensual pleasure. People whose taste receptors have been destroyed by radiation or disease have been known to die of starvation. “Because everything tastes like cardboard,” one researcher said. “Your brain tells you, ‘This isn’t food,’ and it won’t let you swallow.”
4. Some food preferences develop extremely early. Traces of the flavors of the foods mothers eat are perceptible in breast milk and amniotic fluid. Babies whose mothers ate garlic, say, or broccoli, while pregnant are more likely to accept and enjoy these foods as children.
5. Why do babies drool? For starters, because they have no teeth to hold their saliva in. Also, without teeth to help break foods down, saliva is responsible for more of the work. Baby saliva—so cute!—contains extra lipase, an enzyme that breaks down fats. (Breast milk is high-fat.)
6. The stain-fighting enzymes in laundry detergent are the same food dissolvers our bodies use: amylase (a saliva enzyme) for breaking down starches, lipase for fats, and proteinase for protein. Laundry soap is a digestive tract in a box.
7. Contrary to what most people think, the smell of cooking food—according to two separate studies—does not make the mouth water. A researcher in the 1960s measured salivary flow rates in a group of hungry subjects who watched him fry up bacon and eggs in the lab. No change. His explanation was that thinking about eating turns your focus to your mouth and you suddenly become aware of your saliva.
8. There’s a reason animals lick their wounds and humans have a tradition of kissing their children’s boo-boos. Saliva contains potent antibacterial substances as well as nerve- and skin-growth factor. Wounds that take weeks to heal on skin will heal within a week inside the mouth.
9. The technical term for the face people unconsciously make when they eat something rancid (mouth open, tongue extended, nose wrinkled): the disgust face.
10. Teeth and jaws are best known for their powers of destruction, but they are remarkably sensitive. Studies have shown that humans can feel, with their molars, a piece of grit as small as 10 microns in diameter. Your jaw muscles automatically adjust their force as you chew, sensing when, say, a peanut gives way and instantly letting up to keep you from smashing and breaking your molars.
11. When you blush, the lining of your stomach blushes too.
12. Flow speed of a high-viscosity food bolus traveling down the esophagus: .22 mph, about the same as a tortoise.
13. Why doesn’t the stomach digest itself? It does. Thus it has evolved to be very efficient at regenerating its own tissues. You have a brand-new stomach lining every few days.
14. The typical cadaver stomach holds about a gallon before it ruptures. The stomachs of live humans rarely rupture, because the body has built-in emergency stomach-emptying reflexes. The Transient Lower Esophageal Sphincter Relaxation, or TLESR, or burp, relieves pressure by letting out gas. If that doesn’t suffice, the body calls in the heavy artillery: regurgitation.
15. Flatulence peaks twice a day: five hours after lunch and five hours after dinner.
16. Spacesuits have activated charcoal filters, lest astronauts’ flatus be circulated across their faces three times a minute for the remainder of the spacewalk.
17. The flatus of women has higher concentrations of hydrogen sulfide and has been deemed by professional odor judges to have significantly worse odor than men’s. However, the playing field is leveled somewhat by men’s greater, on average, volume per passage.

32 people, including 22 Nigerians arrested for multi-million credit card fraud in the US

32 people, including 22 Nigerians have been arrested in a multimillion, multi-state identity theft and credit card fraud ring. See the report from www.nj.com below…
The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office first got involved in the investigation in the early fall of 2012, when they received numerous complaints from victims as far away as California claiming that credit cards in their name made fraudulent retail purchases in Hudson County, officials said yesterday.
Using store video and physical surveillance, the detectives were able to identify several suspects, authorities state. Detectives then linked those suspects to hundreds of other accounts and millions of dollars in phony transactions.
The leaders of the group, authorities say, purchased the identities of unsuspecting victims from online brokers, who got the information from computer hackers across the United States.
In a process known as “punching,” electronic account information from the cards’ magnetic strips would be transferred onto counterfeit cards, which were provided to “strikers” who conducted the purchases at retailers all over the Eastern Seaboard, authorities say.
Teams of strikers purchased retail gift cards that were then used to purchase various electronic items, authorities say. Those items were then sold in bulk to fences in New York and New Jersey, authorities say. The fence would then sell the items to other people for cash payments.
The investigation has identified nearly 1,000 victims across the country and millions of dollars in phony transactions, authorities say.
Authorities say the suspects spent the proceeds on luxury cars, high-end jewelry and other lavish expenses. Some of the money was additionally sent to accounts in Nigeria, authorities say.

Lagos State DCP Starves Inmates: How Female Prisoners Slump Daily Due To Hunger – Insider

This information was posted from some of the inmates that they are being starved by the above named woman in charge. I was told that inmates slumps almost everyday, there was one that happened on sat 30th march 20013, some of the inmates died because of hunger.
The women and babies are falling sick due to inadequate feeding, i was also told that the inmates are eating rotten food because of hunger.
I also learnt that the controller of lagos prison and the woman in-charge of female prison are dating and because of that the controller does not do his duty. it was said that the controller use to be a father to them when they have issue with the former in charger, that the controller will settle the matter and he makes sure all is well before he leaves. but now, the inmates doesn’t understand why the controller changes over night and takes sides with the new woman in charge especially when she is wrong and treat the inmates like animals.
There was a time the inmates called her attention to dialogue with her, just like a mother. instead what she did was to tell the controller that the inmates want to riot in the prison yard, so because of her lies the police and soldier were called to guard the prison yard. sometimes the inmates are warned to pretend that everything is fine when the NGOS are around and after they leave they begin to starve them again.
When food and provisions are being brought for them by families are friends, the warders will collect some of the items from them or they would let then to collect all the food or provision brought for the from the families and friends, unlike the male prison, they allow them to collect every food and provision brought to them by their family and friends.
Please these inmates need your help before they all starve to death, especially the mothers and babies. If you want to find out about what am saying speak to the inmates and not to the controller, warder or the woman in charge.
Please helps us talk to the government to come to their aide before people start dying like chicken.
I will appreciate it if my identity is kept unknown because i don’t want trouble.
Thanks and God bless u and your families as you come to their aid...
